I'm sitting in the living room of our large, comfortable Airbnb, looking at the huge rock out there in the ocean.

Annnnnd - I'm also looking at a construction project which is seriously interfering with the "truly epic views" we were promised.

There were days of casual perusal followed by a solid afternoon on the couch, full of "look at this one!" and "hey, what about this one?"

In the olden days we hired travel agents to design our trips for us, and they generally had a lot of insider knowledge.

These days our lives are way more DIY and we've got to make all our choices on our own with the little information we're given. 🙄
