Hey Reader! When I graduated from college I assumed I'd be doing a lot of traveling. âïž đ đ đą đČ đ đłïž đïž đ I'd already been to Europe and South America and Africa, as well as a majority of these United States; it seemed a reasonable assumption. đđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđ And while I did manage to get out and about during my 20's, it all fell apart when I bought a house and had a couple of kids. đĄ My partner wasn't a huge traveler, and let's just say we didn't have an income that would support a lot of family-sized international adventures. đ€ I have managed a couple of trips in my later years, and honestly I'm pretty thrilled with the experiences I've had. There was this memorable one to Iceland, which may be the most magical place on earth. đźđž Another favorite was this one, to Peru. đ”đȘ It sounds corny, maybe, but this place really is as miraculous as you've been told. But for the most part I've been a homebody. Travel is an occasional departure from the same old, so it's wildly refreshing to jump into something completely out of my normal routine. I recently saw a post about varying your newsletter - throwing in a bit of a curve ball, if you will. âŸïž Like, if you have an unvarying format, try mixing it up. âĄïžâïžâŹïžâïžâŹïž I rarely add pictures to my newsletter, it's text only, so maybe adding some color and visuals this week will grab some eyes that have started to glaze over. đđđđđïžđđïžđđđ đđ đđđđŸđđđđđïžđđïžđđ đ There are so many different ways to structure and format an email, and truly there isn't a best; there's more than one way to peel an orange, after all. đ If you're interested in some possibilities, I've got a cool little thing called the Newsletter Template Pack. It's got a whole bunch of, well, templates. Including an a la carte option to basically build your own. If you're thinking about changing up your email, I recommend snapping it up. I've done the work so you don't have to. đ But for real, think about trying to mix it up a little. Imagine you're going to a costume party. đ€đ€Ąđ°đđ§ââïžđđđ§âđ€đ€ đ·đđŠčđŒđŠđ§đ»đ„”đșđžđ»đ€ąđ„đđ»đ§đ»ââïžđčđ§ đœđ„¶ You're still you, your interactions and conversations might not be all that different than they would be if you were wearing your street clothes. But maybe they would? đ€·đ»ââïž You never know what you might get if you try something different. So mix it up, take a chance. Yours in maintaining a growth mindset đ± Julia âTame Impala knows the power of change, and so does this email. Forward it to someone who's stuck in a rut.
