Hey Reader! I was watching my new favorite show, Save This House, last night. It's hosted by Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, with whom I may have begun a parasocial relationship. (Nothing creepy, I'm just easily captivated by cool, talented, good looking people who seamlessly enact perfect lives.) Anyway, a family had run into an issue with their contractors; though they'd managed other jobs well, they totally botched their beautiful but complicated twisting staircase. Our handsome hosts told the homeowners that in some areas of the house you really just need specialists. They hired a guy who knows stairs, and he fixed the problems. Same-same with newsletters. On the one hand, it's just an email. But on the other, it's an email with a purpose, and you want it to accomplish that purpose. Writing a good email isn't hard, but a little specialized knowledge can make it way better. Knowledge about things like: Hooks. Preview text. Subject lines that pull people in. How to tell a story that entertains while it informs. How to sound like a real person, not a corporate jargon machine or a bland "service provider". Lucky for you, I know a LOT about newsletters, and I'm very happy to share that knowledge with you. Meet with me, and ask every question you ever had about sending good emails. I'll fill you in on things you may never have thought about, like A/B testing, or list cleaning, or automations. I call it the Power Hour, and the price is going up in August. Get it now for a mere $99. We'll spend an hour together. Ask me general questions or bring me your thorny problems, and we'll get it all sorted. You'll come away with tons of strategies that will not only improve your emails, but will make them easier to write. Because you, too, may have a lot of decorating shows to catch up on. Yours in hammering it out, Julia PS - Sign up before the end of July to get the deal, but you've got through August to use it. The Beatles know getting a little help is, well, helpful, and so does this email. Forward it to someone who could use a hand.
